Africa Eco Race 2015 - Stage 2

Route:

After a short liaison of only 37 km, the competitors started the last day of 2014 with an oued around the dunes of Merzouga Erg. Then they had to find a GPS point in the middle of the sand dunes. After a mixture of different terrains like stony desert, tracks, sand dunes and the crossing of the Draa river, they reached the finish of the 2nd special stage at Mhamid, Morocco, after 377 km. A short liaison of 23 km led them to the bivouac in Tagounite, Morocco.
